Which types of hair loss can Keralase™ Treatment treat?
Keralase™ Treatment helps with common hair loss types: telogen effluvium and androgenetic alopecia (male and female pattern hair loss). Typically, experts recommend waiting until the active shedding phase in telogen effluvium stops before starting the treatment.

Researchers have not studied it for other types such as alopecia areata and scarring alopecias. However, we evaluate each case individually, and we may still consider the treatment based on the specific circumstances.
Do I Need to Prepare for Keralase™ Treatment?
During the Keralase™ Treatment, it is important to have a clean and dry scalp. This ensures that you can apply the treatment effectively and allows for better absorption of the product.
Doctors also advise avoiding excessive sun exposure in the week prior to the procedure. This is because sunburn or sun damage can make the scalp more sensitive and may interfere with the treatment process.
How Should I Take Care of My Hair After the Treatment?
KeraFactor™ serum is patient-friendly, as it has no scent, does not dry hard, and has a neutral pH. Let your hair and scalp air dry after treatment, then you can go back to normal activities, like using hair products.
Leave the KeraFactor™ serum in your hair until the following day, and then you may wash your hair. However, it is advisable to wait 48 hours after the treatment before coloring your hair. Minimal breakage of telogen hair occurs temporarily after the procedure and is normal.
How Many Procedures Do I Need?
We generally recommend a series of six Keralase™ treatments at one-month intervals initially. Afterward, you can space the treatments with less frequency to maintain the desired effect.
